SOMATIC THERAPIES

The body holds the story—
in cellular memory.

Somatic therapies always orient to health and are committed to the inherent treatment plan.

A somatic therapy session with me is grounded in mindful presence, patience, pacing and safety, whether I am sitting with a patient or working with them remotely. With compassionate curiosity, I listen to what is being said verbally, as well as how a patient’s body nonverbally manifests his/her story of life experience in relationship to health.

I practice a variety of somatic approaches that weave together to facilitate a deep healing process.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST)

BCST is a non-invasive, hands-on and subtle, yet profound, whole body therapy. A key to the success of this therapy is the safety of the relational field and the practitioner’s ability to pace the session.

BCST is a body-oriented therapeutic process that supports an individual seeking balance, health and well-being. This process ranges from an individual seeking personal growth to an individual with pain, disease, depression, cancer, anxiety or  infertility to name a few. BCST influences deep patterns of resistance or discomfort through building internal and external resources.

The principles of a virtual session are the same as that of an in-person session.

BCST is appropriate for people of all ages, from prenates and infants to the elderly.

I also practice this therapy with animals with great success.
